Super PINDA

Super PINDA is a next version of the famous PINDA 2 used in prusa series 3d printers for auto bed mesh levelling.

PINDA 2 has a thermistor embedded inside it which compensates for the heating up of the sensor whereas the SUPER PINDA is made of high quality material that it gets minimal heating affect from the heat bed thus allowing for a more consistent first layer most of the times.

Super PINDA can be considered as temperature independent inductive probe.

This probe is compatible with - Original Prusa MK3/S/+, MK2.5/S, MINI/+ and Prusa i3 MK3S Bear Upgrade by 3DPrintronics. It can also be used in other 3d printers like Vorons/Hypercube/Hevort for better bed levelling.

In case you wish to replace PINDA 1/PINDA 2 to with SUPER PINDA in your prusa series 3d printers then please use firmware version 3.9.2 or higher. Super PINDA may not give desired results in lower firmware versions.

Length of the cable - 760mm (in case you want more length you can extend the cables. We only provide 760mm length)

The higher performance of Super PINDA comes with slower speed. The firmware setting for SuperPINDA bed-levelling probing speed is at least two times slower than the same setting for the PINDA 2. Also, it takes slightly longer to get SuperPINDA to a stable temperature level. The result is that mesh bed-levelling with the SuperPINDA takes slightly longer when compared to PINDA 2.

We get these probes from Prusa3d
